New Domain: michaelhutagalung.com

I am moving this blog to a new domain michaelhutagalung.com. Every content from the old domain are still available and can be accessed without experiencing any broken links (I hope). Beside that I am getting older and older and starting to put my concern on this first-name-last-name thing, I hope I can be clearly identified as an Indonesian person. This blog is proudly created in Indonesia by an Indonesian 22-years old guy living in a beautiful city called Bandung.

Ahh, I am so proud of Indonesia, and being Indonesian as well.

NB. Michael Jubel ini orang Indonesia lho. Michael Jubel Hutagalung, lengkapnya. Beberapa pemikirannya, curhatannya, celotehannya, dan WordPress Themes buatannya tersedia di sini dan semuanya asli produk orang Indonesia.

    Personally, menurut aku bagus nama domain yang sebelumnya. Tapi yang sekarang…??? Aku suka banget! Keliatan Nusantaranya, iya nggak?

    coba lo gunakan nama seperti bambang, joko sebagai nama pena. pasti ga ada yang ngira lo orang estonia atau bahkan swahili.

    hutagalung, not hutangalung. hutan galung? hahahahaha.. there is, as long as i know, no forest (hutan) named ‘Galung’ in Indonesia.

    Hutagalung is a family name (or ‘marga’), inherited from my father, who also inherited that name from his father, and so on. It is a cultural inheritance system that we can see in some Indonesian ethnic groups. There are Hutagalung, Manurung, Siahaan, Silalahi, Tobing, etc for Batak people.

    People from Manado, Padang, Makassar, etc also have similar system.

    Anyway, welcome to Indonesia.

    emang suka gitu. gw juga klo misalnya lagi browsing (contoh: deviant art) trus nemu yang keren2, ga pernah terlintas “wah, ini buatan orang indonesia bukan ya?”. Pasti lgsg ngira yg bkn bule. Dan ternyata kebanyakan yang gw blg bagus buatan orang indonesia.
    jadi smakin takjub.
